If you don't know German and need English audio and subtitles it's better save your nerves. Teacher explains well and shows different techniques.

This course is designed for intermediate painters with basic watercolor knowledge. Beginners with some experience will also benefit, as many techniques and material tips are explained step-by-step.
You’ll need a watercolor set (e.g., Schmincke Horadam), various brushes (round, liner, and detail brushes), watercolor paper (ideally cold-pressed, at least 300gsm), a mixing palette, pencil, tracing or graphite paper, and optionally metallic paints.
You’ll learn how to mix watercolor paints intentionally, apply different wet-on-wet and glazing techniques, color botanical and animal subjects, bring out fine details, and add metallic highlights.
The course demonstrates color gradients using wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and by layering and thinning. You’ll learn to create natural transitions and three-dimensional effects.
You’ll discover how to build a flexible, personalized palette for diverse painting projects using the three primary colors (yellow, blue, red) plus complementary tones.
Round brushes are used for broad areas and details, liner brushes for fine lines and leaf textures, and detail brushes for delicate accents. Their uses and selection are clearly explained.
Watercolor paper is thicker and more textured (usually 300gsm or more), so it absorbs water better and doesn’t warp. Choosing the right paper greatly affects color blending and detail sharpness.
