About the final project for: Voice Mastery & Recording
Specialization: Voice-over and Dubbing: Mastering the Art of the Voice
“Final project: Your professional voice demo: acting, dubbing and narration in a single portfolio Objective Create a comprehensive and versatile voice demo that showcases your artistic identity and technical mastery across multiple vocal disciplines. From emotive performance to precise dubbing and commercial adaptation, this final project brings together everything you've learned to present your voice as a powerful and professional tool. Project description Throughout this specialization, you have trained with leading voice professionals—Jani Dueñas, Sergio Zamora, Isabel Martiñón, Sebastián Llapur, and Joël Mulachs—each offering a unique perspective on the art of vocal performance. You have learned to shape your vocal identity, adapt your voice to different audiences, bring animated characters to life, master commercial persuasion, and dub dramatic scenes with rhythm and soul. Now it's time to bring all of that together. Your final project is creating a professional demo: a portfolio that not only showcases what you can do, but also tells the story of who you are as a voice artist. From the first breath to the final sync, every element will reflect the techniques you've developed, the creative risks you've taken, and the emotional truths your voice can convey. Project Components 1. Idea and concept • Showcase your evolution as a vocal artist through a carefully curated demo • Define the vocal styles and formats that best express your creative range • Structure your portfolio to attract casting agents, studios, and commercial clients 2. Applied techniques • Vocal performance techniques (breathing, diction, rhythm, tone) by Jani Dueñas • Commercial voice and storytelling strategies by Sergio Zamora and Sebastián Llapur • Development of animated characters and dubbing with Isabel Martiñón • Dramatic dubbing, synchronization and timing with Joël Mulachs 3. Personal Style • Highlight your expressive identity and vocal versatility • Choose scripts and characters that resonate with your voice and creative interests • Explore emotional depth, humor, or drama through authentic performance 4. Presentation • Professionally recorded and cleanly edited audio clips • Segments organized to highlight clarity, variety, and narrative arc • Optional: personal introduction or closing to showcase your unique vocal brand Development steps 1. Define your vocal brand: What makes your voice unique? What roles or formats best represent you? 2. Select your segments: Choose scripts or create original pieces for each section of the demo 3. Practice and refine: Apply the vocal techniques learned to achieve emotional and technical precision 4. Record and edit: Prioritize sound quality, clarity, and consistency between clips 5. Organize your reel: Sequence the segments to tell a story about your rank and strengths 6. Final presentation: Add a brief personal statement or visual identity (optional), and export your demo in a shareable format. Final delivery • 1 acting demo focused on identity (30–60 seconds) • 1 commercial/narrative reel with at least 2 styles (60–90 seconds total) • 1 reel of voice acting for animated characters (45–60 seconds) • 2–3 commercials with varied tones and brands (15–30 seconds each) • 1 dramatic dubbing scene (60–90 seconds) • Optional: brief written artistic statement or personal introduction (100–200 words) This project isn't just about recording, it's about revealing. Your voice has journeyed through laughter, drama, rhythm, and silence. It has been guided by the wisdom of five professionals and shaped by your own instincts and personality. Now you hold in your hands a demo that is not just your calling card: it's a declaration of who you are as a vocal artist. Celebrate this moment. You've created something that speaks louder than words, and the journey doesn't end here. Stay curious, stay brave, and remember: behind every unforgettable voice, there's a story only you can tell.”
