Guided Course: Craft Your Creative Leadership Manifesto
“Final Project: Craft Your Creative Leadership Manifesto Now it’s your turn to define what kind of leader you want to be — with clarity, intention, and your own personal voice. This project is your space to reflect, envision, and express your creative leadership style. You’ll start by exploring your values and leadership presence, and then shape a plan for how you want to show up in your work and relationships. Using tools like the GRACE framework, you’ll map out how to lead with empathy, purpose, and growth in mind. If you’re not sure where to begin, choose one of the five project ideas below — or mix elements to create a manifesto that’s entirely yours. 1. Your Guiding Light: A Visual Leadership Statement Design a one-page visual manifesto that expresses your leadership values, mission, and style. Use words, images, or even mood boards to capture how you want to lead. Example project: A collage-style page with bold statements like “Lead with Listening” and images that reflect calm, strength, and inclusivity. 2. Letter to Future You: Reflective Leadership Narrative Write a letter to your future self describing the kind of leader you are becoming — your challenges, intentions, and the impact you hope to have. Example project: A letter beginning with “I lead from empathy, not ego,” and outlining future goals for growing a collaborative creative team. 3. Your Leadership Style in Action Identify 3–5 leadership behaviors or habits you want to embody, and describe how they look in real situations — from team meetings to giving feedback. Example project: “I make space for quiet voices,” “I model vulnerability,” “I ask before I assume” — with examples from daily interactions. 4. The GRACE Plan: Growth Strategy Blueprint Use the GRACE framework (Grounding, Relationships, Awareness, Curiosity, Energy) to build a personal leadership growth plan. Example project: A chart or document showing how you'll practice “Curiosity” each month — such as attending talks, journaling, or mentoring. 5. A Manifesto for the Team Create a shared leadership manifesto for your current or future team — something that communicates how you want to lead and collaborate with others. Example project: “In this team, we learn from each other. We welcome feedback. We give credit freely. We lead with heart and clarity.” Once your manifesto is complete, share it in the forum along with your reflections. What inspired your leadership approach? How has your vision evolved through this process? Whether your project takes the form of text, visuals, or a mix of both, your voice matters. Let others learn from your journey — and grow their own leadership in the process. This isn’t just about how you lead today, but how you’ll keep evolving as a creative, intentional leader.”
