“Now it’s your turn to put everything you’ve learned into practice. This project was designed to help you apply the knowledge you’ve learned in the course in a creative and personal way. If you don’t know where to start, don’t worry: we’ll give you some ideas to help you get started and let your creativity flow. The most important thing is to explore, experiment, and enjoy the process while developing a proposal that reflects your own personality. Share your results with the community and get inspired by your colleagues’ work! 1. Typographic logo for an urban fashion brand Create a logo for a fictional streetwear brand targeting a young, edgy audience. Use expressive typefaces, weight variations, and unusual styles. Use a vibrant color palette and choose a secondary font that works well on labels, packaging, and social media. Project example: Create the logo for “RUDA”, a streetwear brand inspired by the energy of big Latin American cities. 2. Typographic Monogram for Creative Personal Branding Create a monogram using your initials or those of a fictional character. Experiment with different spacing, proportions, and overlapping letters. This exercise is ideal for exploring graphic synthesis and conveying personality with simplicity. Finish with a complementary font and negative and colored versions. Project example: Create the “MC” monogram for a multidisciplinary designer focusing on emotional branding. 3. Typographic logo for a fictional publishing company Imagine a publisher of illustrated books or contemporary poetry. Develop a logo where the typography conveys elegance, clarity and sensitivity. Experiment with serifs, subtle contrasts and refined proportions. Complete with a supporting font designed for covers and editorial materials. Project example: Create the logo for “Nimbo Editora”, specialized in art and photography publications. 4. Logo for a sustainable products brand Create a logo for a sustainable brand — whether it’s for natural cosmetics, organic food, or eco-friendly products. Use soft, organic letterforms and a color palette that communicates nature and well-being. Choose a supporting font that works on labels and packaging. Project example: Create the logo for “Luma”, a plastic-free, chemical-free personal care brand. 5. Typographic rebranding of an art festival Imagine you’ve been asked to redesign the logo of a fictional cultural festival. The challenge is to create a typography that conveys movement, creativity, and diversity. Play with distortions, dynamic compositions, and vibrant colors. Choose a secondary font that’s suitable for signage and promotional materials. Project example: Create the logo for “Fronteira Aberta”, a performing arts and experimental music festival. ”
