“ Cast and Finishing Touches Now that I've gone through the sanding process using my roughness paper to the finest, gone in with the silicone wheel, also gone in with the split mandrel and the sanding paper on the inside of my ring, I can start to polish. I start to polish a bit using the... Luxor polish, and also... a buff. If you're doing something large, I don't recommend polishing on a flexible shaft or a split mandrel unless you have amazing ventilation because it gets dirty quickly. I polish my rings on a polishing machine because it has a vacuum in the back but not everybody has that...”
