Following the professional workflow, you will experiment with digital composition, pre-production, recording, mixing, and mastering, utilizing advanced techniques to achieve professional-quality sound. This project will allow you to create a unique piece of music, reflecting your creativity and mastery of music production tools. Project Description You'll create an original song of at least 1 minute and 30 seconds, integrating real and virtual instruments, exploring sound design, and applying advanced mixing techniques in Pro Tools or other production software. The process will include: 1. Digital composition: Creation of the musical structure and selection of sounds. 2. Pre-production Track organization, arrangements and recording planning. 3. Recording: Incorporation of real instruments or voice recording. 4. Mixing and mastering Application of equalization, compression, and effects techniques to obtain a professional final mix. Project Components 1. Inspiration and Definition of Style • Define the genre and style of your song. • Research musical references and select key elements you want to incorporate. 2. Musical Composition and Arrangement • Develop a base melody with harmony and chord progressions. • Defines the rhythm and structure of the song (intro, verse, chorus, bridge, outro). • Create the first sketches using virtual or MIDI instruments in your DAW. 3. Pre-production and Track Organization • Organize and name all tracks for easy recording and mixing. • Adjust tempo, key, and structure to optimize song flow. • Plan which elements will be recorded live and which will be synthesized. 4. Recording Instruments and Voices • If you decide to include actual recordings, use a microphone and sound card to capture quality audio. • Apply recording techniques to obtain a clean signal without noise or interference. 5.
