Excelente curso, já conhecia pelas redes sociais e me surpreendi com o conteúdo.
A very helpful course for a very practical and fun medium. It was cool to learn from a great inspiration of mine.
Me encanta el pirograbado! El curso es sencillo y fácil de entender, me ha gustado mucho. Lo que Domestika debería mejorar es la traducción de audio, no es muy buena, le falta optimización.
He aprendido mucho.

This course is designed for intermediate artists who have some experience with wood burning or pyrography and want to deepen their understanding of materials, techniques, and artistic approaches.
You’ll need kiln-dried hardwood (like basswood), a wood burning system (wire tip or solid nib), sandpaper, a moisture reader, wood filler, carbon paper, and finishing oils such as Danish oil. A well-ventilated workspace is also recommended.
You’ll learn how to select and prepare wood, use different burning systems and tips, apply various techniques for shading and texture, repair wood imperfections, edit and transfer designs, and create lifelike pet portraits and botanical art.
Some prior experience with wood burning is helpful, as the course covers intermediate techniques and assumes familiarity with basic pyrography tools and safety practices.
Basswood, maple, cherry, birch, and alder are preferred hardwoods for pyrography due to their smooth grain and minimal resin. Avoid resinous woods like pine or cedar as they can produce uneven burns and fumes.
Set up your workspace in a well-ventilated area, use a heat-resistant surface, keep a fire extinguisher nearby, and always wear a protective mask to avoid inhaling fumes. Proper lighting and cord management are also important.
Solid nib burners use fixed metal tips, ideal for bold lines and shading, while wire tip systems offer more precision, interchangeable tips, and finer control over detail and temperature.
