About the final project for: Polymer Clay Accessories: Create Botanical Flowers and Leaves

Create Miniature Polymer Clay Accessories

“Thank you so much for taking this course! I'm so happy to have shared with you my best tips and tricks on how to create polymer clay flowers and leaves. I highly inspire you to create your very own design so that you can gain confidence! Create something unique to you. Here's an example of how I would like to see your process: The Election Choose the flowers you want to create, study their leaves, shapes, and colors.

The Design Create a rough draft for the final design. Decide what kind of final creation you will make: clip, magnet, sun catcher, earrings, etc. then draw out a rough draft of your final design or experiment with scrap clay.
The Process Mix your clay colors, create the necessary clay canes and molds for your petals and leaves. Measure out your clay and form your petals and leaves, add detail and assemble them into their final design.
The Accessory Bake the final design and add any last details like colored UV resin to the tips of the pistils or gluing it onto a clip or magnet. If you are making a sun catcher or earrings, assemble the pieces together with jump rings and chain.
If your first projects look silly, that is totally normal! My first polymer clay creations were very different looking from how they are now. So be patient! Remember that sometimes it takes time and practice to become skilled. Share your final project and participate in the forum. You can comment on others' work and get feedback on yours as well. It's incredibly important to find community online and locally. Have fun making your creations, I am so excited to see your final project!”

Polymer clay and resin artist

Bellis Botanicals is the creative universe of Brianca, a self-taught polymer clay artist whose miniature sculptures of butterflies, flowers, and fruits have captivated a global audience. After nearly a decade working in restaurant management, she transitioned into the art world by sharing process videos of her clay creations online—quickly gaining traction with her marbled snake earrings and tiny hanging plants. What began in 2022 as a side project selling bath bombs and resin jewelry evolved into a full-time artistic business powered by her growing online following.

Brianca’s work stands out for its vibrant textures, intricate detail, and a playful exploration of nature in miniature. Inspired by her travels and love for plants, she sculpts everything from clay canes of butterflies made in Costa Rica to light-up earrings and whimsical foods. Now working alongside her partner, Kolin (and under the supervision of their three feline “managers”), she continues to expand Bellis Botanicals with new techniques, challenges, and an ever-evolving creative spirit.
