“In this lesson we will learn about adding colors and shimmers to your candles. Using candle dye to color your candles is the safest way. Liquid dye and hard dye are two forms that are available in the candle market. Liquid dye is extremely concentrated and it is great for soy wax. It requires little mixing to achieve an even color and does not leave behind any particles or residue like hard dye can. As a general rule of thumb, three drops of candle dye to 16 ounces of soy wax gives you a lighter shade while adding six drops to 16 ounces of soy wax gives you a darker shade color. Hard dye is...”
