Frank Augugliaro is a design director and editorial designer based in Brooklyn, New York. He currently serves as Design Director for Opinion at The New York Times, where he art directs, designs, and illustrates stories across print and digital platforms, collaborating with editors and art directors to develop visual solutions for journalism across formats including video, audio, and social media.
Prior to joining The New York Times, he held design roles at leading publications such as WIRED, The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, and The Wall Street Journal. Throughout his career he has designed and art directed magazine covers, feature spreads, and entire editorial issues. His work has also been commissioned by clients including Farrar, Straus and Giroux, Rizzoli Books, Bon Appétit, Vanity Fair, Fast Company, Harper’s Bazaar, Pepsi, and W Hotels. His work has been recognized by organizations such as The Art Directors Club, The Society of Publication Designers, Society of News Design, and D&AD.
