“So in the previous lesson, we went really in-depth on rendering, just focusing on the head and going over the specifics and the mechanisms by which we make something look really three-dimensional. So for a lot of the rest of the painting, it's going to be a matter of repeating a lot of those same ideas. So we're just going to be separating light and shadow and then making sure we maintain our compression while adding more values and developing bands in the dark halftones.
