“In this lesson I'm going to show you how to play a straight beat finger drumming pattern. So with the straight beat every single note that we hit is going to be on a beat. So if we're thinking in terms of time signature we're playing 4-4. That means four beats in one bar. So when we're counting it's going to go one two three four one two three four and so on. With the right hand playing the hat we're going to keep that time going with that pad through.
