Carlos Andrés Betancur is a renowned Colombian landscape architect with more than two decades of experience. Inspired by Colombia's rich cultural and natural diversity, he founded OPUS, a landscape design and architecture studio in Medellín 16 years ago with two friends. With a philosophy focused on weaving healthy relationships between people and nature through design, OPUS has worked with numerous entities, including ministries, companies and educational institutions, winning national and international awards.

Throughout its history, around 400 people from all over the world have collaborated in the study. Additionally, Betancur has spent 20 years as a university professor in Latin America, sharing his vision and experiences in design, hoping to sow seeds of positive change. His collaborative design approach focuses on observation, listening and dialogue to positively transform spaces.
