Painting in Procreate: Reimagine Your Surroundings

This course is a whirlwind tour of many fundamental concepts in painting, not just using Procreate. I had to stop often to internalize the learning about lighting, composition. I may not do his kind of painting, but the teachings are very useful for any style of painting.

I so loved this course from Mikko. He does explain his process in a way every one can understand and follow. I have learned so much. Thanks a lot.

I really enjoyed the course. Mikko is an excellent and creative artist. I just want to point out that it would have been much better if the entire work had been completed on the same painting. Because continuity makes it easier to understand things. Also, I couldn't see the depiction of the building's reflection in the water, which is very disappointing. I hope there will be an update on this.

So far so good. I am part way through the course and I am finding it interesting, informative and inspiring. I also follow Mikko on YouTube which enhances the learning experience. Well worth it!

Hice este curso hace ya unos cuantos meses y me encantó. El profesor explica super bien, todo el proceso e incluso entra en muchos detalles, especialmente esos que hacen que la ilustración se vea profesional, siente realista y con una composición y luz adecuada. Lo recomiendo sin duda!

This course seems to be a little for the intermediate learners. The concepts are good but it’s not totally beginner friendly. I am a total beginner to concept art making and the unit where the painting begins is not very thoroughly explained. If it would have been more step by step, it could have been easier to follow and understand with actionables.
Some design and composition topics are good though.

The teacher longly discribe a lot of usless things, but skips the important parts of the drawing! All of a sudden you see a whole different level of drawing appears on the next lesson. very disapointing.

This Procreate course is perfect for beginners. It covers essential tools and basic techniques, making it easy to start creating digital art. A great introduction to the world of digital painting!

This course is full of brilliant content. From fundamental theories of light, colour and composition. Right through to more 'abstract' ideas around artistic inspiration and finding your own voice as an artist. And it's all delivered in such an approachable and inspiring way. Awesome stuff.
