What's included in this course?
You will start by knowing Costhanzo, how he became an illustrator and what has influenced his work. He will tell you about his influences and explain what you will do during the course.
You will make a brief introduction to the history of the cartoon, making stops in the different styles, times and techniques. Already involved in the subject, the teacher will guide you to find your personal style.
You will choose who to portray, investigating the person, analyzing it and preparing the ground to go to the paper. Then, you will focus on getting an idea to start sketching your scene with pencil and paper.
Next, you will focus on resolving the resemblance to the person in question, stopping on facial features but being consistent with your personal style. You will try portraying front, profile and three quarters until you find the best option.
You will digitize your illustration. Then you will learn the different steps to follow both in the process of illustration and retouching, as in the digital application of color.
Costhanzo will teach you how to deliver the drawing for publication in different media, so that it looks better.
Finally, you will review the finished work and the teacher will give you the latest advice and conclusions for your next projects.
