So don't underestimate the quick ideation sketches for yourself. Then develop them further with what you have learned in this course. If you wish to sketch your already existing dream car, you can still use the techniques shown here for it. There is no harm to create art by drawing existing cars. But, why stop there when you can design your own dream car? It's also important to remember that practice is key. I highly recommend you use all practice files before starting to work on your idea. This way, you can set your creativity free and better understand how volumes, lines, shadows, and perspective work. Once you feel comfortable with the basic theory, you will be able to apply it. These are the main steps to follow to complete your project: The Brief Before starting sketching, decide what you will sketch. You can use one of my three briefs or create your own. What is your dream car? Ideation Sketches Develop different ideas in small sketches. You can use the practice files as a reference. Consider the proportions and perspective. Then, add more details to your draft designs. The Design Idea Once you have your rough idea, it's time to draw your dream car without the fear of the blank page. Start with the side view and then move to the front and rear. No need to finish it all at once. Remember, you can adjust the different views as you go along.
