The Photograph of Sin City: from the Comic to the Screen

Rico Torres, shooting photographer in Hollywood, has always been in love with photography. At 14 he learned to use his father's reflex camera and later, at 24, being a student at the Film School, he realized his enormous ability to capture dramatic moments by making a book of photos for a model friend. Thus began his vocation for photography, which has not stopped until today, 20 years later.

Despite not mastering the technique, his talent and his desire to excel earned him a place in the movie mecca and work with great directors like Robert Rodriguez, Ridley Scott, Martin Campbell , etc. For his objective, the most important Hollywood actors have passed, such as Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, Denzel Washington, John Travolta, Mick Jagger or Adrien Brody.

The big producers such as 2 0th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Columbia Pictures, Troublemaker Studios, Netflix or Fuego Films have not hesitated to have their expressive talent to make the posters of films like The Mask del Zorro, My family, Pancho Villa, A Good Year, Hostel, Manolete, The darkest hour, Hands of stone or Tristan and Isolde.

In addition to film photographer, Rico Torres is also a specialist in advertising photography, example of which are his campaigns for Nike with Kobe Bryant as protagonist or for the fashion brand Coronel Tapioca.
