Stamp Making for Textured Pottery

Sarah Pike does a wonderful job presenting how she creates her meticulous stamps. I learned so much technique. Her years of study is a benefit to us all.

I very much enjoyed this workshop on creating a slab stamped textured mug, as presented by Sarah Pike on the Domestika platform. Sarah's work is incredibly beautiful and her presentation on how to complete this project of a slab stamped mug was easy to follow and provided many tips along the way. I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone who is struggling with creating a slab stamped mug. Thank you.

I loved this course. I have already done pottery on the wheel but have never attempted slab, so this was a great intro for me to try a new technique and expand my skills. I loved how the course was easy to follow and incremental. I will be trying all of these techniques and hope to achieve something amazing.

Sarah gives so many useful insights on her work (not only stamp making, but also for slab building) and has such a calm way to explain every step, very easy to understand! There are also some nice extra materials included that I did’t expect. I really loved the course and can’t wait to try making my own stamps :)

Sarah has a calm demeanour when sharing her incredible style and talent. Rolling out a slab, who knew there were so many little tricks to making a perfect size and shaped slab but Sarah makes it so doable. Coming up with the design, she shows how using three stamps can bring a myriad of creative options, and just when you think you have your final project design figured out, she presents another perspective offering even MORE creative possibilities with those same three stamps.
