“In this class, I will trim our pattern with a seam allowance of 1 cm, I will cut our cheesecloth, or raw cotton, and sew our pilot piece together. A tip for those who cannot visualize and cut evenly with 1 cm in the eye, is to make a template from a pencil and a pen. Align the heights and join with masking tape. Wrap it with masking tape, in my case, I took advantage of the tapes I used to fix the paper to unite the pencil with the pen. And from that template, we position the pen aligned with the limit of the masking tape, and with that we can always stick to a standard measurement of 1 cm....”
