I’m completely content and in a state of bliss’, she says. Farron is known for her large-scale, organic landscapes and bold use of color. She won the emerging art prize autumn from Banditto Residency, and collaborated with Funem Studios to create a barragan inspired fiber pack and weaving pattern.

Start off by getting to know Farron Feiner. She talks you through her creative journey and what made her the artist she is, from redecorating the house with her interior designer mom, to her discovery of mindfulness and spirituality.
Next, search for inspiration for your work. You’ll use that to guide yourself through your design. Before you begin your piece, Farron teaches you a few essential stitches.
Once you’ve got that down, prepare your workspace. Then, start weaving together your project. Farron shows you how to make and incorporate shapes into your design, before finishing it off and removing it from the loom.
Once you are done, go through some tips on how to hang your work and keep it in good condition.

Farron Feiner is a Los Angeles-based weaver specializing in organic landscape designed textiles. Farron graduated with a BA in Textile Design from CSULB, and afterwards got into the fashion industry. Eventually she moved back to her love for weaving, and started selling her work on Etsy and taking commissions. She is best known for her bold use of color and large scale pieces. In 2021, she won the emerging art prize autumn from Banditto Residency, and collaborated with Funem Studios to create a barragan inspired fiber pack and weaving pattern.
