Johanna Forster is a freelance illustrator from Saarbrücken, in the southwest of Germany, best known for her cute fruit and vegetable characters. Johanna first studied Fine Art, but quickly switched to the Media Art and Design course, as she was attracted by the variety of Concept Art courses.
A big fan of video games, she also illustrates concepts and has developed several of them, as well as board games. In fact, Nordlicht, the point and click videogame she developed during her studies, even won an award. She has also worked until 2022 as an illustrator at the studio Chasing Carrots. She is currently freelancing with her online shop, where she sells prints, cards, originals, stickers, magnets and many other items inspired by fruit and vegetables.
