“Making the Bralette Now we've already joined all the pieces of fabric. Our next step is to add the elastics. Since I have the lace trim, we'll use the braided elastic on both sides to add containment and support to our garment. We'll start the same way, from the bottom. As we've already seen, we'll place the elastic along the lace edge, joining it with zigzag stitching. Once the elastic has been sewn on one side, we'll cut the elastic, leaving some excess along the top, which is where we'll place the strap later. 1 or 2 cm will be more than enough.
