About the final project for: Introduction to Feng Shui

Introduction to Feng Shui

“Congratulations! You have finished the course! Thanks again for joining me. I hope everything you have learned has helped you feel more confident about how to experience and evaluate spaces. I will now show you an example of how I want to see your project: The First Steps Find a room. This may be your own bedroom or a room of a friend or family member. Sketch it out using one of the provided templates. Plot out the size according to the number of squares, and add details such as doors, windows, and closets.

The Client Find your client and ask questions about their lifestyle. If the client is yourself, ask yourself the same questions. The key is to understand how the space is used and how your lifestyle or tastes may affect this.
The Furniture Return to the floor plan and add things like energies, sharp corners, and pathways. Try to imagine how the different parts of the room may feel. Then, print and cut out the little furniture pieces, and with your knowledge of the room and client, arrange the room on plan as you deem fit.
Make It Real! Lastly, apply the plan to real life. Note any details which you may have missed from the plan, and address them. This is the end of the project, share your before and afters!
Now, post it! Share your project by clicking on 'Create your project'! I would love to see what you've created. Remember to share a picture of each step and briefly explain what you have done in each one and why. I also encourage you to join in the conversation; we can all learn from each other! I will be giving you feedback as soon as possible, but please be patient. See you soon!”

I hope now you know that it's not so complicated and not so daunting. Through the course, we did a lot of things that will help you fix your room and make it a better place. We started off with the very basics of feng shui: what is feng shui, what does it mean and what can it do? We explained it's not just superstition and there is some practical use to it, and how it does make sense if you see it in the right frame of mind. Then, we looked at the v...”
