“This is where we flesh out our concept. Keep in mind that the default is in the details. First things first, sketch out your idea on paper. It doesn't need to be an ultra-realistic sketch, just a rough sketch with all the things you want to include in your photo. Make sure you're taking into account things like light direction, props and color schemes and composition. Sometimes I use paper to sketch out my ideas. In this case, I'm using an iPad.
