María José Caro is a renowned writer and communicator. Born in Peru, she has published books in South America, Mexico, Spain and other countries, winning awards such as the Luces award from the newspaper El Comercio of Peru. Her passion for writing began at an early age, when she was adept at telling implausible stories and creating fictitious newspapers.

María José is the author of several books, including "Perro de ojos negros", "What's wrong with me?" and "Corazón de titano", published by Penguin Random House on the Alfaguara label.
