About the final project for: Elaboration of Artisanal Watercolors
Artisan Watercolors
“Now is the time for you to apply everything learned in your personal project. I propose to create a travel palette that has personality, and that is representative of a specific landscape, a time of year, an artistic current or any concept that comes to mind. I recommend you do not exceed the number of colors. Play with palettes of between three and six watercolors. They work best! For the three colors, you can use full godets and for six, medium godets. Choose the box that you like, whether old cans or specific watercolor boxes to work outdoors. Some people use perforated wooden slats to dry their watercolors and to use it directly as a palette. You can also combine different containers, for example, add a shell with some special or more precious pigment. Up to here my course of Handcrafted Watercolors in Domestika, I thank you very much that you have acquired this video and I hope that it is of great use to you. I will be at your disposal in the forum for any questions, but I beg you to be patient, since depending on my professional commitments, I will take more or less time to answer. If you have solved your travel palette without any complications, I encourage you to advise the members of the forum and me too! I consider myself an eternal apprentice and I will thank you from my heart for any advice or information that may enrich this course. ”

Scriptorium Yayyan
A course by Scriptorium Yayyan
Painter, Illustrator, and Calligrapher
Curro Gutiérrez, a classically trained artist with a degree in art history, began his career by studying calligraphy at a small art school in Lisbon. He later decided to delve further into manuscript illumination at the only institution specialized in the subject, the Institut Supérieur Européen de l'Enluminure et du Manuscrit (ISEEM) in Angers, France. After creating an illuminated codex in four different styles, he was named Enlumineur de France, the highest recognition given to an artist in this discipline, becoming the only Spaniard to have earned this title to date.
After completing his studies, he started his own business, Scriptorium Yayyan, specializing in calligraphy and illuminated manuscripts and giving workshops all over Europe.
