Sketchbook Exercises for Artistic Growth

Very original. In her first 10 seconds of intro , Sarah asks us to start sketching - anything - while we listen to her. Lots of info and inspiration.

I loved this course it was packed with so much useful information. The tutor was clear and to the point. It inspired me to get more sketchbooks and start playing with my materials. What I have gained in the course I will keep in my art practice for sure. So happy I took this course.

I don’t like leaving a thumbs down sorry but I have to be honest.

Unit 1-2 was the intro to the course, luckily I watched that the night before. 1st half of Unit 3 was the best bit, I enjoyed the mark making, line drawing and block work and felt like I was getting somewhere. 2nd half was less inspiring to me, felt rushed and not as content rich. Unit 4 came around too quick. Then the last two videos were boring (summary of the course & watching her write her top tips down)

Ich denke, wer die anderen beiden Kurse von Sarah van Dongen schon hat und sehr mag, wird diesen hier auch mögen. Die meisten Übungen sind schön gewählt und machen Spaß. Viele der Übungen habe ich zwar schon selbst in meinem Skizzenbuch gemacht, aber ich bin trotzdem sehr froh, dass ich diesen Kurs belegt habe, weil ich es jetzt auf eine organisierte Art tun werde. Ein sehr guter Kurs, besonders für Anfänger, aber auch für Künstler, die schon ein wenig fortgeschritten sind, denke ich.

Me encanto la manera sencilla pero con ejercicios muy prácticos y creativos. Es una excelente maestra que te alienta a encontrar tu propio estilo.
