Introduction to character design for animation and videogames
“This course has been designed to simplify and make available to everyone, regardless of their technical level, the theoretical and practical keys that I have managed to understand for the design of characters, throughout my last ten years of practice. After having seen it complete and done each of the tasks, surely, you will have enough knowledge to make a line up of characters. Try to use simple shapes before adding details, take care of spaces and sizes of shapes. Try to give life to your characters with poses and expressions, since a design always connects better with who sees it, if it manages to tell a story. It is an art that involves dedication, but I'm sure you can achieve it. Finally, do not forget that this course is only the first step in the path of the character designer. I shared my experience, process and rationing, but the rest, you will have to explore it yourself. It takes time, but the result is extremely satisfying. I invite you to share your final project in the forum of the course, so that we all see your line up and can provide feedback with constructive criticism that will surely help us to improve our work. Thank you very much for taking this course, I hope it has helped you open the door to your future as a character artist. ”

Then we saw the torso, all the muscles that make up the front and the whole area of t...”
