“I'm so glad you made it this far! I hope you enjoyed the course and really enjoyed the tips on how to make sound design. To facilitate the organization of your project, I have prepared this list of essential steps: • Choose an excerpt from a silent film that you would like to work with. Ideally, the stretch should be about two minutes long. • Watch the movie a few times and think about what effects, environments and foleys you will need to sound design this movie. • Record and/or search all possible sounds that you will use. Build your sound bank. • Create a session, import the desired video and start working. Start by creating the environments, then the foleys and finally the EFX. • Remember to think about the best way to add sound information to the image. Put on music if you feel it is necessary to convey an objective emotion. Mix it thinking your final product is a movie for YouTube. • Deliver, after you're happy with the mix, and share it so we can all watch. Export the sound film in the following format: Video: .m4v or .mp4, 720dpi (1280 x 720) Sound: stereo, AAC or .mp3, 128kbps, 48Khz I will look forward to your project so I can comment and give some kind of input if necessary. I want to see your gaze on him. And, again, record everything you can, practice thinking about how your sound can help the narrative. And never be shy about showing your ideas. Gather the main parts of your project and share it by clicking the "Create your project" button. Your publication will be part of your portfolio here at Domestika and will be a space for you to display your work in the community. Have new ideas, create alternatives, enrich your creativity. In addition, I invite you to give feedback and comment on the work of the creative community. Take the opportunity to network! Thank you so much again! It cost!”

“As we part ways. i hope you found the course enjoyable and gained valuable insights into the techniques of sound design. Farewell and best wishes! For the final project. we'll incorporate sound into a scene from a silent film. Select a scene you wish to work on. I recommend considering film titles such as "The General." "Metropolis." or "Nosferatu" for this you like The Cabinet of Dr. Calegari. Nosferatu. or Metropolis. These are films of different genres. Bear this in mind during creation. Silent films were originally crafted without sound in their design. This will present some challenges...”
