About the final project for: Sketchnoting: Communicate with Visual Notes

Sketchnoting: Communicate with Visual Notes

“Congratulations! You have now come to the end of this course. I want to thank you for your participation and hope you gained valuable insight, confidence and inspiration to continue sketchnoting. As with most new skills we learn, it takes some patience and practice at first. The most important thing is that you give yourself time to develop yourself and approach things with fun and curiosity. As a reminder, here I have summarized the most important steps you need to follow to sktechnotate a presentation as briefly as possible. • Tune in to the topic and first make a small collection of pictures of typical terms. • Prepare a style sheet to help you work on your visual hierarchy during the presentation. • Prepare your paper in advance with the title of the talk and, if you like, with a mini portrait of the speaker. • If you are working with a video, you can watch the talk in its entirety first and then record it in the second round. Here's another tip: You can also pause the video in between to get a better grip at the beginning, or you can set the video to half speed and try to work without pausing.

I look forward to seeing your work and progress! Share your own sketchnotes - both of the talk we sketched together and the talk you choose yourself - as your course project on the forum. Simply click on "Create your project". Don't forget to comment on each other's work. It's really encouraging and helpful to get feedback from others, and you benefit from giving others feedback too - it sharpens your perspective and can give you lots of good ideas. Of course, I will also visit the forum as often as possible to answer your questions and give you tips. I wish you a lot of fun practicing! ”

I hope you've been able to take away some valuable insights and feel ready to continue with sketchnoting. Maybe it was a bit much for you. especially the live sketchnoting seemed a bit fast. But that's not a big deal. because with time and practice. everything will improve. You also saw my initial sketchnotes in the lesson. and they were far from perfect. Over time. with dedication and effort. your skills will enhance. just quite text-heavy with only small drawings and sometimes still relatively ...”
