“ Possible Setups and Recording Yourself The first setup is what you have at home. The basics are a cellphone with a camera and a window with good light. This will be enough for a great final project. Since this is a lesson about setups and equipment, I'll tell you what I do at home and when I'm traveling. I have two softboxes I use to control the light a little more. Sometimes I only use one of them. I have a tripod for my phone. I use tape on both sides of the phone for eye line reference.
