“So in this lesson we will get ready to knit, so that means preparing your yarn, working out how much you need and then getting yourself in a comfortable position to start knitting. So first of all you need to work out how much yarn you need, we talked about that in an earlier lesson. I'm going to make a blanket that's around 70-75 centimetres by about 140 centimetres, so I've worked that out that I need just under two kilos of yarn and because I love making things in bright colours I have chosen a bright pink and a bright green and I'm going to be doing a striped blanket, so I'll show you h...”
