“In this lesson I will tell you about some of my sources of inspiration or role models. The first are the surrealist films produced between the 60s and 70s. In particular I selected two. The Color of Pomegranate by Sergei Parazhanov from 1968 and The Stoned Mountain from 1936. The first film tells the story of an eighteenth-century Armenian troubadour, Sayat Nova. His story is told through images in a very poetic way, taking inspiration not only from his life but also from his poetic work.
