“ Determining Colour In this session, we'll be discussing colour, how to modify colour, tonal values, and the intensity of colour. Watercolour is transparent, so when we add one colour to another, it changes that colour. Not only that, but as you'll see from these colour swatches, it increases the intensity and the tonal value of the colour. When we add red to blue, it makes this quite deep purple colour but you'll notice that the tonal value is now increased quite considerably compared to these other two colours. We need to remember that when we're adding washes on top of other washes. Now...”
