“frame fabrication Now we will make a frame, which will help us to contain and protect the oven at the time of baking our samples. It will also serve as a display of our explorations. The frame we are going to build will be a 22 cm × 22 cm frame and will have side walls 3 cm high. We have to remember that clay shrinks by 10%, therefore we will add a few centimeters to the frame to have the exact measure that will contain our samples. What I mean by it shrinks 10% it is that the clay, while we work it, will dry out. Before entering the oven it will begin to dry at least 7% and inside the oven...”
