“Image Transfer In this lesson I will teach you how to paint your photograph digitally and then to transfer it to the fabric. To colorize the photo, I will use a free program which is called GIMP and when I have it finished, I print it to transfer it to the fabric. Go for it. The first thing I'm going to do is open it in GIMP. The first thing I have to check is that the image is in RGB mode. To do this I go to Image, Mode, and, as you can see, it is in Grayscale.
