About the final project for: Animated Illustrations Inspired by Nature

Animate an illustration inspired by nature

“Thank you very much for accompanying me during the course. I hope that you have fallen even more in love with the wonderful world of animation and that you can apply everything you have learned to your future creations. Now we are going to review the key phases of the project so that you can share it with the Domestika community. I would like you to briefly explain what you have done in each one and accompany the explanation with one or more images. Search for references The first step is to get moving and go out and observe your surroundings. After you get inspired, do quick uncensored drawings to get ideas down on paper, and create graphic-style mood boards with reference images.

Character design and composition Choose a subject and begin to define the story and improve the drawings thinking about composition. Help yourself by generating a storyboard.
Style frames Now it's time to digitize your sketches and try out various color options.
Preparation for animating It is recommended to make an animatic to "feel" the times and see if something is missing. Then complete your designs and prepare your files for After Effects.
Animation We come to the key part of the project. Animate from major to minor, starting with the main movements and then adding detail. Always keep animation principles in mind and work in the curve editor. Animate by prioritizing key poses and then adding in-betweens and breakdowns.
Post-production and final result To give a final touch to your project, add details of composition and sound. Finally, export your project so you can share it with the world. In the "Postproduction" unit you can see how my finished project has turned out. I hope it inspires you!
The time has come for you to share your final project with the community by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your animation and the steps that have led you to it. To share the final result, you can upload your animation to any video platform and share a link here. I look forward to seeing your project and giving you feedback. Although I ask for your patience, I will try to access the forum as much as I can and what my professional projects allow me. Finally, I want to invite you to actively participate in the forum, not only sharing your progress, but also giving advice and trying to help the rest of the community. See you in the forum!”

“Well, I wanted to thank you for taking this course and for accompanying me throughout the entire process. Remember all the concepts we saw when making your project. Searching for references, the importance of getting out of the computer to look for ideas, and apply the concepts of composition and design. Once you have your sketches defined, Think about what emotion you want to convey and use color to help you do that. When you animate, remember to go from highest to lowest, first animating the main elements and then adding detail. Remember that it is important to follow the steps in order t...”
