About the final project for: Visual identity design with an illustrated soul

Designing Logos with an Illustrated Soul

“Congratulations! You have reached the end of this Domestika course. It has been a genuine joy sharing my knowledge and experience with you. Thank you so much. I sincerely hope you have enjoyed the course. Now I’d like to remind you of some of the most important steps we gave throughout the course and that you should remember when you start doing your course project:
Finding Inspiration Create a mood board before you start sketching. Remember that trying to find imagery that you think will inspire you through the entire process is very important.

Start Sketching Come up with 3 sketch concepts. If you have more ideas and can't decide on which to move forward with, don't feel limited; you can create more sketches because the more, the better!
Linework and Typography Do the linework for your chosen design and add the text, selecting the best typography. The main thing is that you apply what you learned in this course to your own style and hopefully create something personal and magical from it.
Shading and Color Add color and shade to your illustration. And, finally, add texture to your design.
Setup for Printing and Presentation Prepare your illustration for print and create a few mock-ups to visualize your design and show it to the clients.
And that's all! Thank you so much for taking part. I can't wait to see your designs! You can share your project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project." Remember to share both the final result and the steps that have led you to it. It would be great if you showed a picture of each step and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. If you have any questions, be sure to ask them! I will reply as soon as I can, but in the meantime, I encourage you to interact with each other. Communication fuels creativity. So, don't be afraid to reach out and collaborate with others. But most of all, have fun! See you in the forum!”

The key takeaway I want you guys to take from this, while you're doing the research for the band, it's important to still try to find imagery that you think is going to inspire yourself. Remember, this is a design that you're going to want to do for an artist. So, it's important to have fun with it and also be inspired. The second step is creating your sketches. Now, I have you guys create three sketches. Don't feel that you have to necessaril...”
