“Mixing and Trace In this lesson, we'll make our soap base. To do so,I'll pour my caustic soda into my oil and make an emulsion. I'll put on my goggles. Let's check the temperatures. The temperature of the oil, the temperature of the soda, and the room temperature. The oil must be between 25 and 30 ºC (77-86 ºF).
