At the end of the last segment, I floated the idea that we could judge the effects of spaciousness on creativity by conducting an experiment in rooms both large and small, and then comparing the results. Sounds good, but there is a serious hurdle to clear. It's tricky to configure two spaces that are absolutely identical in every respect except for size, especially when you start adding things like furniture, lighting, and computers...”
