Picturebook Character Illustration with Procreate

Gozde Eyce is a freelance illustrator and picturebook creator from Istanbul. After completing a degree in business management and working in the corporate world, she decided to turn her passion for drawing into a career. As a self-taught artist, she developed her skills by observing, reading, and sketching. Gozde eventually realized that her colorful and artfully imperfect illustration style was ideal for children’s literature, and she began sending out her portfolio to publishers, landing numerous freelance jobs.

Since then, she has taken on many different projects all over the world, including children’s books, kids’ apparel, and editorial illustrations. She has also collaborated with NGOs and publishers like Justdiggit, UNICEF, and Mo’s Daughters, embracing these opportunities to support causes like sustainability and equality.
