Intro to Polymer Clay Jewelry: Design Floral Accessories

Mallory Smith is a self-taught artist from the United States and the founder of ShopMalCreates, an online store devoted to polymer clay jewelry and accessories. She originally studied early education at Columbia College, but decided to pursue a more creative career after graduation. She launched her craft project in 2018 and quickly found success the following year when she started experimenting with clay to make jewelry dishes, and from there, jewelry itself.

Mallory considers her jewelry art rather than a commodity; she makes all of her pieces by hand, emphasizing quality and detail over mass production. Her intricate and unique floral designs have helped her stand out within the craft world and led her to collaborate with other well-known artisan brands such as Mane Message.
