Digital Watercolor Illustration: Picture Books about Architecture

El mejor curso de Domestika que tomado hasta ahora. Ya he tomado cursos de Maru Godas, Sarah Van Dongen y Ema Malyauca, todos excelentes, pero este sin duda es insuperable. Victoria comparte sin barreras toda su experiencia y creatividad. Ademas el curso es super completo.

Great help with sorting things out about brainstorming, thumbnailing and finishing an illustration focused on a main character and architecture.

Her work is exquisite, colorful, and she's a master at doing it. Her compositions using white space is a well documented. Some parts of the filming, when she was sketching on paper, were poorly lit, making it impossible to see the pencil drawings. But that's Domestika problem.
The last part where she talks about pitching to a publisher, I would advise anyone interested about this to learn more via the SCBWI association. Having a literary agent agent will open many publishers doors.

Me ha parecido un curso magnífico porque explica las razones de sus sucesivas elecciones en su ilustración. La parte de formatos/composición y análisis de estos parámetros, razonados, es muy buena tb. El tiempo del curso está bien distribuido entre acuarela y Procreate, pero quizás se me queda corto, aunque las ideas fundamentales están muy bien expuestas. Me ha gustado mucho la exposición de qué meter en cada página de un libro suyo y por qué. Gracias.

Victoria présente un cours très clair, autant sur la méthode thumbnails, sketch que sur sa façon de peindre à l'aquarelle. Le gros plus du cours est sa présentation documentée sur les techniques de composition extrêmement intéressante.

Merci Victoria pour ce cours très généreux en explications, références et techniques! Passionnée par l'architecture, j'avais une idée dans ma tête et ce cours, il me donne une base solide et encore plus d'envie de créer ce type de livre!

Thoroughly enjoyed this course — a game-changer. Thank you, Victoria! I particularly appreciate the discussion of composition and have followed up on some of the recommended sources. As a direct result of this course, I am also now exploring the Procreate app to complement my love of sketching, drawing, and painting by hand. Great course, well-organized and detailed, packed with useful ideas for *all* illustrators. Love the passion for introducing kids to architecture/design at an early age.
