Liya Weng, better known as Mochipanko, is a Hamburg-based artist. Although she studied interior design, her passion for creative drawing quickly rerouted her onto a career path as a freelance illustrator, designer, and tattoo artist. Her style is heavily influenced by Japanese culture and art, especially manga and anime, which she's loved since she was a child.

As a result of these influences, her art often transmits a sense of calm, warmth, and nostalgia. Her personal projects include illustrations, comics, merchandise, and tattoos, which she sells through her online shop as well as at manga and anime fairs or events. The bulk of her clients belong to the gaming industry and her illustrations have seen wide-spread use, from the cover of a soundtrack for a Bandai Namco game to background images for Steam profiles.
