Very nice and useful course.

Really Good! Very thoughtful approach—structured and yet a lot of imagination! Particularly good if you feel a little bit in a rut. This course will make you want to make something! Great resources too. I plan to revisit again soon. Thank you Whitney!

El curso ofrece un par de buenas ideas para trabajar a partir de imágenes pre-existentes. Creo que esperaba algo mas, pero de cualquier modo me resulto útil.

Whitney taught me the importance of doing a mind-mind. I did it and now I can be more focused - less blocked.

It's so interesting to learn from a professional as Whitney Sherman! I found new opportunity for my old drawings and paintings, I like the way where you can combine all technics and media what you own. Very simple and light way of teaching, motivating expertise and sharing her expertise.

'Harvesting images' shows you how to go back to artwork you made in the past and look at it in a new way and select pieces/fragments of your artwork to give it new life, highlight it and use it in a different way. Artwork and experiments in your Art journal maybe, that you have put away 'for later'. Take the time to go through works you made and make new selections. I loved all the recommendations and the options to make new work. The artist is also a very good teacher.

En lo que voy del curso, me parece que va bien lo que explica acerca de los mapas mentales descartando y agregando ideas para llegar a un buen diseño o mejorarlo.

I listened to my intuition and it led me to this course. I've heard of mind maps, but this presentation really set me free, because you can start with very simple things without expecting too much and go wherever you want. That's exactly what I needed - to learn how to release even the slightest feeling, and not to be stuck, because you don't know where to start to implement big ideas.

Interesting course and very inspiring. Learned alot. Defnitely recommended.

This course provide two useful techniques of creating a mind map to explore your ideas and to look closely at your work to extract unique aspects of existing work. These are useful reminders of how to create new work. I did feel that the course was a little abrupt and was hoping for a little more content on techniques or the creative process. However, the sharing of how to work with different medias like fabrics and ceramics help to provide new ideas for products.

Not much content here. Make a mind map, trace an existing artwork, make minor changes, change your mind map to fit those changes, look at images of Whitney's work without tips about how to design and prepare images for those products. Resources are totally basic. Instructor's advice - "It's trial and error, be patient". Why make a mind map if you're going to work on an existing piece and make changes spontaneously? Why take a course if the instructor tells you to figure it out yourself?
