What's included in this course?
Start the course by meeting your teacher, Zeyu Cheng, who talks to you in detail about her background. She also shows you some of her aesthetic influences and the artists that inspire her.
Next, Zeyu explains what tools and materials she uses for tufting and introduces you to the essential techniques you need to make your tapestry. Once you've got the basics, prepare your workspace and make a simple frame for your project.
Time to design your own tapestry! Zeyu teaches you how to gather inspiration and choose the color palette and materials, as well as different methods for sketching your piece.
When your sketch is ready, transfer it to the screen and begin the production process. Tuft the outlines and each of the shapes separately before finishing off the back of the tapestry and trimming the front with a shear.
Finally, Zeyu gives you some great ideas on how to use your creations, for example, to decorate a mirror. She also shares some tips on how to present and package them.

Requirements and materials
No previous knowledge is required to take this course.
As for materials, you need a cut-pile tufting gun, special oil for sewing machines, PVC carpet adhesive, hot glue, base fabric and a screen (both cotton), a shear, wooden strips for the frame, nails, and other tools that your teacher will specify in the course. As an option, you can also use Adobe Illustrator and a projector.

This is the second tufting course. And I concluded that it is necessary to go through everything). Despite the fact that the process is quite stable, each master talks about something new. Ein deutschsprachiger Kurs! Yes! Die Technik wird sehr gut erklärt und auch die Sprache hat für mich das richtige Tempo. Tips und Tricks,aus eigener Erfahrung,werden geteilt.Zudem erfährt man von Anfang bis Ende,welche günstigen Materialalternativen es gibt und wo man sie finden kann. Zwei Sachen fehlen mir noch: Dass der Abstand der Reihen auch sichtbar gezeigt wird und wie man ein Loch im Stoff flicken kann.Wenn es Probleme gibt kann ich Kontakt aufnehmen,um Hilfe zu bekommen.Rock on!🤘😎
