“In the last lesson, we experimented with mark making and we worked on our palette. In this lesson, we're going to begin our final artwork. Before we jump in, I want to talk about scale. Scale is really important when thinking about how a print will look on a garment. It's important to make a rough guess as to what scale you want your motifs to be on your final piece, whether it be a print, fabric, or on a garment. You can always adjust the scale of your motifs later, but it's a good idea to paint your motifs at about the size you want them to be. Otherwise, once we scan them into the comput...”
