This course is incredible! These are basics many instructors miss, but Nico has done a wonderful job in explaining the fundamentals.

This was such an excellent course. I have dabbled in hand lettering for several years and struggled with composition. This course gave me actionable ways to evaluate layout options and structure my compositions.

There are units on hand lettering that cover foundations, and even though I didn’t need them, it’s always good to practice and hear reinforcement, and from a new teacher’s point of view.

Nico is a masterful hand letterer and generous teacher. We are lucky to learn from him!

Nico is an incredible teacher! He takes you through the basics from the types of lettering to how to draw letters consistently and how to find a pleasing composition. I learned so much from this course and I am improving with each piece of lettering art I complete because of the solid foundation I received from this course. I have even purchased one of the books that Nico recommended, which is only helping to further my knowledge, understanding and inspiration. I can’t say thank you enough!

This course is Amazing. Great structure, material explained in details enough to make my own projects. I never did lettering before, but after this course I already created 4 in 2 weeks.
I just cannot stress enough how this course is good.

I'm not sure if somebody with big experience will find a lot there. On another hand, its level is Beginner.

This course is informative and logical. I could create a nice piece of work.

One thing I was really disappointed was that for the composition, the video only showed how to do it with “composition rulers”, which is NOT included in the necessary materials. I wish there will be another video without using composition rulers. This is the reason for my rating. Except for that, this is a good course.
