Introduction to Weaving Wool Felt
A course by Déjate Querer , Industrial and textile designers
Joined June 2018

Learn to create unique textile designs based on patterns of repetition
The art of weaving is usually associated inescapably with two elements: needle and thread. In this course of the duo Déjate Querer -integrated by Ana Paula Alatriste and Rocío Cortés- you will not have to worry about a puncture or to pass the thread through the buttonhole, because the technique that we propose is that of the wool felt fabric, which practice without the need for these elements.
In this course you will learn how to manipulate wool felt to generate textile designs, from repeating patterns and using an assembly technique that will allow you to decide the shape and size of your creation.
