Talisa May is an embroidery artist based in London who specializes in goldwork embroidery, bead embroidery, and needle painting. She has always been passionate about crafts, creating her first stitched piece at just five years old and selling bracelets and keyrings to her neighbors. Talisa later discovered cross stitch as a creative outlet after losing her father and practiced it for almost 10 years before experimenting with needle painting. She then began posting her work on Instagram and, after her fiance bought her a goldwork kit for Christmas, found her creative style.

Talisa currently works on commissions, alongside her job as a senior producer in the events industry. She also sells her pieces via Etsy and shares them on social media under the name Boss Stitch. Talisa has been featured on popular embroidery pages on Instagram, as well as in Love Embroidery Magazine.
